Had the EXTREME pleasure of playing with the prototypes at the SHOT show . . . may I just say, AWESOME!!!
This knife is a must have mega-folder! Will and DR have absolutely gone over the top on this one!
 
The day they were introduced to the public I headed down to AG Russells,and lo and behold,one og the proto's was there!

Awesome knife.5.5 inch D2 blade. Anodized Ti scales,Tip down carry...exectution on this one is perfect.

Cannot wait to get mine.
 
So, for you folks that have been able to handle one of these...

Are the Ti slabs and lock thicknesses the same as what's on a DDR custom version? Did the CUDA version's lock snap in place with an air of authority?

We have "copied" DDR's construction very closely. Yup, the knife will feature .140" thick Ti liners. They will be anodized, and DDR will be doing the anodization himself in the beginning, at least until we drive him nuts, or we get our own anodization setup completed.

I've had one of Darrel's custom MADD MAXX's since he first proto'd them, and I have one of our proto's. They both snap open like a firecracker.
