any opinions in the spyderco delica

The Delica may well be the best all-around knife on the market. By that I mean to say that it has perhaps the best balance of size, steel quality, price, ergos and usefulness of any folding, single bladed, locking knife out there. It is a knife for all people, the Model T of cutlery. Everyone should own a Delica.

Some say "too small, get an Endura". Get an Endura if you like but don't pass on the Delica. If you own a Delica, you can ALWAYS have a tough little knife with you at all times, whether you're wearing shorts, jeans, or a suit. At home or at the office.

Even quite capable for SD, if ever needed (especially if serrated, IMO). I often carry 3 knives: a small SAK, small FB (like a Bob Dozier or the Blackhawk Crucible), and a serrated Delica (since the other knives are plain blades). I feel I'm ready for just about any task.

Regards and good luck

I have a serrated Delica, a plain-edged Endura Wave, and a combo edge Endura. I must say, the Delica is indeed my favorite.

One tip: get the clip out, some scotchbrite, and polish it to the metal. It will become an amazing-looking folder, with just a few minutes' work.
