Any opinions on Don Maxwell?

Hi,

I'm looking into his flipper folders these days, although they look awesome fit and finishwise, wanted to know their flippability. Maxwell owners, are those flippable with no wrist action? Thanks for your time.

I've handled his work at a couple of shows. Silky smooth opening every time with no wrist action needed on any of the one's I played with.
 
Top quality work, agreed. I can't offer you any input on his flippers. I've only handled thumbstud & fixed blades.

I've handled several of Don's flippers, and I am happy to report that he has the flipper mechanism really dialed in on his pieces. They flip great, and without any wrist movement needed at all. Plus he's a real good guy, too. I would highly recommend his work.
