Any options for a 440c knife with stag handles?

Looking for a approx 3" 440c blade and stag handles, or something natural that looks nice/traditional. I also want it to be a lockback. Looking to spend $100-150 Needs to be great quality like GEC etc.Havent seen much up for sale lately. Looking for recommendations, but if anyone has anything feel free to message me. Thanks!

Take a look at Boker. I know I've seen a Stag handled Boker Lockback in 440C but I don't know the model number.

I have a Lionsteel Opera in stag that I really like, but it is D2 blade steel

The Buck Custom Shop offers a 112 Ranger in Elk Stag if you're willing to go with 420HC. Buck's 420HC has a great reputation. Has a 3" blade and you can opt for Nickel Silver bolsters and still stay within your budget.

Definitely check out Boker. Really nice stag handled knives in 440c. Somewhat pricey but I like the Boker Hunting Trio and Quadro, super classic European knives. They also make more modern patterns as well.

There is also the Hartkopf stag folding knife in Boehler N695 which is a modified 440c

If you're willing to look at 440a that will open up the Hubertus Springer and the Puma Jagdtaschenmesser.

If you want to see these you may need to look at the German websites. I have the Bokers mentioned at the top of this post and they are some seriously formidable, heavy duty pocket knives.

See in this pic how heavily built these Bokers are next to the average pocketknife. Blade stock 4mm vs 2mm on the Scout knife. That's a Hubertus lever on the right.



If you'd consider 440a that would put Hubertus in the mix. I have years of use on this knife. Easy to sharpen and holds an edge well.
