I live in Irvine

I grew up in Orange. Went to Villa Park HS on the border of Orange.

I'm about 350-400 miles north of you SoCal'ers, but I'm there every other summer to hit up the cult of the mouse. Wife wants to move to the San Diego area for warmer weather and beaches.

Ever been to Pauls in the Circle? If so, me and you are getting a drink soon. Even though I went to El Mo and you are my sworn rival (weenies on the hill :D)

Seriously guys, thinking about a BH SoCal Gathering for real now, if the rest of ya'll are interested. We don't even need to do a full on camp out for this first one, how about a day hike and then beers somewhere? If it seems like there is interest I will start looking into organizing it.

I've never been to Paul's.

I do use the Muffler shop at the west end of the circle from time to time.

I'd be down for a day hike. There's a thread on here with some members who went to Black Star canyon. It's local and has cool scenery.

I'll try to find the link.

That muffler shop with the funny little van they keep out front for advertising? It's like two doors down from Paul's!!! On the other side of the district. Small world bud. I have driven BY Black Star hundreds of times, never been in though. But I used to trail run in Peter's Canyon every sunday, and I have been to the abandoned ("haunted" according to locals) chicken farm that is a bit past Black Star.

BeckerHead day hike in Black Star, then drinks at Pauls?? I'm down.

No joke? Where in Corona? If you know Guido's Pizza on Border and are anywhere close to it, me and you are pretty much neighbors!! Either way, welcome to the forum!! Hurry up and get your BH# and you can help me organize a gathering haha.

Yep, that's the muffler shop.

A Beckerhead day hike and drinks sounds good to me.

I'll start a sign up thread tomorrow morning when the board is fresh and just waking up to bounce around ideas and suggestions as well as field a sign up list. I'm stoked! This should be interesting...

Monrovia, CA here, just East of Pasadena. Lived in Fullerton for a few years as well. Had In and Out last night with the family after a trip from Disneyland.

You guys seriously need to stop pushing me towards eating In & Out every night for dinner!! Disneyland, one of our many blessings of living in SoCal. Hope you had a nice trip to the magic kingdom.

Dude I lived in Fullerton for a couple of years, one year right across the street from CSUF, for a while on Madison, and a couple more years on Brea Blvd.

Another Fullerton Alumnus here. Went to high school there and one semester each at FJC and Cal State Fullerton (obviously a long time ago since they now have new names.) Also had two law offices in Fullerton - one on Chapman Blvd. and one one Wilshire Blvd. Now living about an hour north of Santa Barbara.

Wow what a small freakin world. My gf went to villa park, and I grew up in Orange, GG, and anaheim.
