Hi my name is Geoff Mitchell and I love the woods and love to hunt, fish etc... I am looking for a career in the great out doors and have been thinkning about becoming a Park Ranger or Game Warden. What I would like to know is anyone here either one? If so where should I go to school? What is the job market like? And is the job mostly book work or foot work out doors? Thanks for all your info. Your Best bet is Lakehead in Subury.. They offer several different courses for various different outdoor things..
Remember we discussed this over the phone...
As far a game wardens,, I think Alberta has an association.. Do a search on Yahoo.ca and see what comes up...
As for jobs in the field.. There are some,,Very few because of all the cut backs..
The Canadian g'ment seems to think funding hockey teams and our $80 billion dollar useless gun bill is more important...
If you are going to do it,, start now,,you are probably looking at 4 years of school...
