Same company, different knife.
I've just taken delivery of a Benchmade 330 Pearl from Chai Cutlery. It's a beautiful knife and perfect for my suit jacket pocket which is what I wanted. but, an observation or two which may be relevant to to the 705 debate.
1. Very tight liner lock. So it's secure, but also very stiff.
2. Stiff opening from the thumb stud. My thumb is sore after playing with the knife all day. Loosening the pivot makes the blade loose between the liners.
3. Sharp edge on the liner lock when releasing it.
4. Tiny thumb stud barely accessible in the notch in the liner.
Faults, yes, but I love the knife!
