Any reviews on Al Mar Mini Sere Operator?

I had the Mini SERE, but I got rid of it. Dang I miss that thing already. I was looking at that brown Shiva too, but it wasn't as practical as the smaller fixed blade that they have. I called Knife Works and asked them about the limited edition labeling, but the blades weren’t marked with a number

Thanks for the advise Jeepin. Got any suggestions on a good kydex sheath maker? FedEx just dropped off my new Al Mar Mini Operator. With just first impressions, I like it real well. However, I would have liked for the handle to have been dropped just a little for a better cosmetic look.

There are many great makers out there, but here are a few of my favorite.

On Scene Tactical Sheaths, River City Sheaths, Mashed Cat Sheaths, SteelNut Sheaths, and Okuden Sheaths.

I think Kiah made one for the full size operator in the past. I asked him about it a couple of months ago and he was really responsive, even though I didn't order anything from him. I remember either seeing it on BF or his website.

I started this thread almost 2 years ago. I still have my Mini Sere fixed blade but I haven't cut anything with it yet.

I don't really know why I hang onto it since I never use it. It's solid as a rock and the sharpest knife I've ever seen right out of the box. I like the sheath that came with it a lot too.

I don't hunt but I agree with PlanetCat that it would be well-suited for that role.

I have often thought I should have gotten the full sized model but I am not real sure what I'd do with that one either?
