Post up your pictures, and experiences please! I'm thinking of getting a knife with this but would like your inputs, pictures please:D

I love my Striders and most of them are in S30V. Easy enough to sharpen, takes a nice edge and maintains it well

I have a large collection of folders. I would say my Orange Spyderco Millitary in s30v is one of my favorite EDC knives.

Yeah, I like s30v, good steel and you can get it for a decent price on a High quality knife. I have no pictures right now, sorry, but I have it on my leatherman charge TTI and that holds an edge really well and had it on my ZT0350 and it took an edge very well also, I had 154cm and I preferred the s30v over that because of the higher quality, what knife are you looking at getting in s30v, depending on who makes it, usually all s30v is going to do decent, I would say try it people have had good experiences with it and I like it too! :)

S30V is my all-around fave. I have many folders with it and now I'm looking to get a fixed blade with S30V.

It's a solid all around performer. Definitely had a bit of a nasty learning curve when I first tried to sharpen it, but that's the only real knock I can think of. I tend to group it with S35VN, CTS-XHP, and Elmax as I doubt I could tell the difference between those in a blind test.

These are probably my 2 sharpest knives and S30V.
Honestly can't say I need any more in a knife.

I love s30v, only issue with the steel is that its prone to chipping, atleast in my experience

Yup, I like S30V, it is mighty fine knife steel. I have NEVER had any problems with it chipping.

I've had s30v in multiple zt and spydercos, and chipping was always an issue, however, that steel gets sharper than a witches tit in winter :p

That comparison O.o

I know s30v is one of the best all arounders, but doesn't 14c28n get sharper? Ita other qualities lack compared to s30v, but I thought that it was a steel that could get the sharpest due to grrain structure. I'll have to test it once my leek that I krdered 2 months ago that I forgot about arrives

I have two Spydercos in S30V and two Benchmade fixed blades in S30V as well. I have an easier time getting them super sharp than I do my CM154 knives. Not sure why that is. I've never had any chipping issues with mine.

I have many S-30-V knives which are OK, but I have moved on to S-60, S-90, S-110, and S-125.

S30v is my go to steel. Not to difficult to sharpen and holds for a nice stretch of time. Have a old Spyderco native, Benchmade Ritter, and a benchmade fixed sporting s30v. I was going to get a custom mini grip s30v but decided to see how the 20cv stacks up.

Edit: never had any chipping issues with s30v.

S30V is very well balance stainless steel when done right... its a tougher steel than M390 or 440C, easy to sharpen and hold an edge with respectable amount of time.

Only steel that theory surpass S30V at every aspect is Elmax.
