Any Sharpened Folding Pry Bars Under $100?

One think about the Buck Strider 881, is it is very thick in your pocket. I know you know because of the thickness of the blade. Something to consider before you order anything. For me the 881 is a GREAT folding prybar. The Mini Manix is a GREAT heavy duty cutter. I would really not get either, for EDC. Do you wear slacks a lot? Either one of these knives is like toting a large midget around in your pocket. And thats not very fun. Its cool at first, but then quickly gets old. I have been were your needs are, it took a lot of money to find IT. But I did find it! I would save another 45 greenbacks, and get yourself a Benchmade Mini Skirmish. Now thats what I would do if i was you. Its tough! Don't let the good looks make you think its not tough. I have since traded my 881, and Mini manix because I have tried to carry them since my Mini Skirmish landed in my pocket. I can't do it, they felt like bricks. I once made fun of people who said a mini manix was TOO heavy. But once you have seen the light, its very hard to go back.

I would also get a SE caly 3, its light duty, but VERY well made. vg-10 is great for SE. A mini Skirmish, and a SE Caly 3 are the only two FOLDERS I will ever need. Of course I'm a knife knut, so I will have more. But as for NEED they cover everything a folder can be asked of. Sorry for the long post, but it might save you the money of searching for the right EDC.

Again this may just be me, I MAY be out in left field? I have been before.

It was a typo. I typed "I can say that I was dissapointed" What I meant was "I can't say that I was dissapointed." I fixed the typo. I like the CQC-8.

If you want a pry bar, I bought a Vaughan mini-prybar, cut off the end bent to a right angle and drilled a hole for a lanyard. I wrapped the handle with small black braided line to dress it up and improve the grip. It's a poor-man's PryBaby-- $3. County Comm has some interesting ones too-- for $5. My point being that if you get a prybar to use as a prybar, you choice of knives can expand and have better cutting qualities-- and price too.

I've been lurking on this thread. I have to say that I'm very impressed with the Wilson Cop Tool! That looks like a tool that belongs in every car. I might have to get a couple of them!

Outdoor Edge "Magna" Kit Carson design.
Stout as a tank and under $100 , Aus8, robust liners.

Why don't you get one of THESE for your keychain and buy a knife that is good at doing what a knife does? :)

Thanks !! for the link , I had not heard of these , am going to buy a few for sure.
What a great gift for Dad and my Bro :)

Those things are cool for the price especailly. Another folder to consider might be a spyderco atr.
