Well, I got a nice stackable tool box. Rollable bottom with a 7 drawer top, 41/2" angle grinder, new cordless drill with giftcards(Bosch 14 volt), and a screw organiser from my step som. Very nice of my family to get me things I will use. I am a lucky man!

What did you guys get thats shop related?

My old man got me a pile of Nicholson files, my brother found me a bottle of ferric chloride (local Radio Shack doesn't carry it any more), and my girlfriend gave me a copy of Machinery's Handbook! Pretty neat.

For myself I got a second MAPP torch & a bag of rock salt for an experimental HT setup and this nifty KnifeMaker membership.

I got a Miller wire feed welder complete with helmet, co2 cyl and 11lb roll of wire. I also got a metal chop saw. Good stuff.

My wife gave me a tabletop drillpress, a 4" bench vice, five 80 grit belts, a new metal cutting bandsaw blade, and D. Cook's Keeping Warm With an Axe... , which is an excellent book, but not really for the shop. My sister-in-law got me Bill Bagwell's book. We are going home to Mississippi this weekend to see my family, and I hope to get some ornamental ironworking books there (that's what I asked for, anyway).

I think the best gift for me will be seeing my brothers get the knives I have for them!
