Any Southard/Domino owners also have experience with ZT knives?

I had a Southard and really liked the knife. It was real comfortable in the hand and open smooth as silk. I just thought the blade was to thick to cut good. I guess I should have keep it and used it some more.

Recently, I've been carrying a ZT 0561 in one pocket and a Delica in the other. I'm actually not a big flipper guy, but my two ZT knives are amazing and the Southard and Domino only piqued my interest further.

So, although the flippers from each company are quite different, I was wondering if any of you could compare the overall feel of the two? Smoothness of opening, lockup, ergos, etc. I think F&F goes without saying as the Taichung Spydies are impeccable.

All this Domino talk recently really has me champing at the bit. Any input would help. Thanks!

I have a few ok flippers and I carry my Domino over all of the others.

ZT0801 was the 1st flipper I owned; it's a great knife. When I got a domino in hand, I realized I wouldn't ever carry that ZT again so off it went. Got a Southard shortly thereafter and now I can't decide which spyderco to take in the morning. Too many pros for both knives.

Now if I ever decide to carry/use my 0777 m390, the Southard would probably be sold to a new home. The domino is just one of those rare knifes that check all the right boxes for me.

I am a huge ZT fan having multiple examples of the 0560, 0550, and 0301. However, I bought a Southard, and have been carrying that for some time, not that I don't carry the ZT's, but as someone else Southard's blade is very useable, and the knife is very compact for its blade size.

I totally dig the Southard!!!!!!!!! and I love the ZT 0301, 0550 and 0560s, I'm luke warm on the 0801, but carry the Southard now after kicking the Contego out of the pocket.

I might buy a Domino user, but I want to handle them a couple of times first, none of my buddies have one :(

I have slimmer CF scales on my Southard's, excellent design with a good steel, they will be the go to knife for some time.

I have a 0777 BLK, I'm scared to use it, damm it looks so nice, I think I might carry the satin blade version(if I can find one). VERY sweet knife!!

DLC is actually pretty durable; what looks like scratches is usually just material on top of the coating. So if you'd use a satin blade, you shouldn't be afraid of the black version. With that said, still not carrying it.

I do have my Southard today.
