Any suggestions for 3 - 3.5 inch blade? New here.

The Byrd line of knives are a great value , mind you they are made in China but , the blade steel is good and the quality is outstanding.

Also cannot say enough good things about the Native , I just bought mine about a month ago and am very , very pleased with it. The blade steel S30V is very good , mine was shaving sharp out of the box , though I had to take the first one back and exchange it because the fit and finish was sort of sloppy , that's the chance you take with some production knives. The replacement knife is fantastic though , the lockup is solid and no play , outstanding knife for $40.

Mini Pika is an excellent choice, well made, razor sharp OTB, small, unobtrusive and light. Also non threatening to sheepies at the office, if that's a consideration!

You might also consider the Dozier folding hunters. I bought one and was so impressed I went out and bought another.

S**t Hot!!!

Enjoy.........................

Native is one awesome knife. But, I would suggest the Native III with VG-10 blade. Its more expensive, but one really nice blade.
