Any Texans Here?

Living in Leander Texas now which is just north of Austin. We are retired transports from south Louisiana who were tired of running from hurricanes.
 
Born in South Louisiana, grade school through high school in Garland, glad I am back home in South Louisiana although Texas has some mighty fine spots. Love the I35 Corridor from North of Austin down through San Antone...

Used to live in San Marcos (late '90s)...
 
I'm between Austin and San Marcos in Wimberley. Texas is a nice place, but it's the Texans that make it great.
