Here’s BD1N (on a Para 3) after an afternoon at the beach (ocean), a very humid/salty environment...pretty good result I think, especially since (I believe) that this is towards the upper end of the hardness range. Minor spotting that is not much more than LC200N experienced in similar circumstances.
I carried a Native 3 LW for about 10 years, them the Manix 2 replaced it. The 2 LW offers the cutting performance of the Manix 2 and most of the strength, but considerably less weight- and it won't eat pants. I had an original translucent on my last deployment. Kept a good edge, and resharpened in seconds. John
One of the things that I like about the LW besides the lightness is the wire clip.I find it has the right pocket retention. Not too tight or too loose but just right.
I love my blue LW Manix in CTS BD1. It’s very smooth and incredibly light. I use and enjoy it more than my G10 s110v versions. When it was 58 bucks it was a no-brainer purchase.
