• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

Any thoughts on Snow & Neally?

My local, independent outfitter store stocks hatchets and axes by Snow & Neally. They remind me of Wetterlings, and are of comparable prices. I particularly like the Hudson Bay Camper's Axe with a 24" handle.

I have not read anything about these on BF. Any opinions?

If you go over to Wilderness & Survival Skills forum there is a lot of info. and input. most of it is positive.

I have two of them. I got both of mine from Brian Andrews at off the map outfitters
Because Brian does does a up grade on the grind and then polishes them and I have never used a axe like them before. Brian does a great job on the grinds. I have several different kinds these and these two that I got from Brian just are way better in chopping ablility they just slide through wood. Much better than my Granfors Brunks
ever has. Check him out, it might just be what you are looking for. I also have two more on the way I liked the first two so much I want spares.

Hope this help ya.

Bryan
