Any thoughts on Swamp Rat Dog Skinner..

as a all around camp/skinning knife. Blade is D2. Just wondering what u guys think. Has anyone used one in the field??

Not used one myself but I do know that Swamprat does magic stuff with their heat treat on D2 so it should have great edge retention and toughness !!!!

Right now Im having trouble deciding between the swamprat and the BT4. Just not sure.

Man that's got to be for you to decide. The edge will cut better off the bat on the BT4 as Ban does the best edges there is but the Dog Skinner is Guaranteed for life and will most likely also just keep going up in value ! You can't really lose with either blade !!!!

Is the BT4 in A2 or 3V? Either way I'd be leaning towards the BT4, partly cause I'm just sick of reprofiling busse kin knives.
