Any thoughts on the CQC-7A?

I will say that I have grown to love this knife, but for $200, I should not have had to take it apart, clean it, and now keep putting pencil lead on the lock so it doesn't stick. It is kind of disappointing, honestly.

Some people recommend pencil lead while others recommend Sharpie. I use a Sharpie and feel that it works better. Put a few coats on and let it dry. You may be surprised. Your miles may vary.

Taking it apart and cleaning it is part of the intimacy.

On topic, all for the A! Just a gorgeous working blade.

I've had both the tanto and the spear points, one with serrations and one without. I prefer my plain-edge CQC-7AW as it's more of a utility knife than the tanto,
