Any thoughts on the Muhle R89 Grande?

I'm thinking of getting one, but cant find many reviews on the grande version. My son wants my EJ89. I know how the head cuts, but wonder how the extra weight and length of handle would be.

Don't know about the R89 but the 41 is an attack-dog of a razor! Still trying to learn how to use it....very fine quality finish though.
