any thoughts on this?

I'm mixed.

The price is just a little high for a Ti handled high quality knife. It does have some intersting features that looks just a bit like a gimmick. I don't like the blade shape.

While standing at a surefire dealer at a gun show, a guy came up and was talking about Emerson making Surefire knives. I have no idea if that's true or not.

Utility equals beauty. Personally, I love the concept of a thin, compact folder with all the integrated tools. It's got alot but nothing extra. Materials are top notch and the ultra hard protective finish is very appealing.

So does all the stuff work as it should or does'nt it? At the listed price, I am not willing to find out.

the more i look at it, the more I like it in that "I gotta have everything on my belt" sort of way. I just picked up an assist, and the Delta would round things out while still keeping my down to 2 EDC (I find more than 2 to be excessive).

but I'm going to beat the hell out of it. I ain't paying +$150 for something that I'm going to beat the hell out of (unless it's a busse). plus, as dave said, a lot of the features seem gimmicky, and unlikely to survive heavy use.

Surefire advertises that Steve Ryan designs them and is in charge of production. At least they did.

If all those gadgets really work, then I like. If not, then you can keep it. However, even if it does work as advertised, that's an awful steep price!!

Meh... looks like the illigetimate love-child of a Benchmade Griptilian and Kershaw E.T.

...and the price is far too high

Look, it has nearly every opening option available-hole, disc and flipper!

Not my thing, but I don't hate it. Someone might have a use for it, but I don't know how many would pay the price tag.

The wire-cutter looks like you could get cut trying to use it.

Too much money to me.

I like the integration of features. Keep in mind that the Ti materials and the "Made in USA" contribute to the high price. I think about half of what they're asking is more appropriate, but I think that is also applicable to Striders, though not as drastically.

You know some knives have bult in wire cutters. They call them blades. when i have that kinda money to blow on a knife there are better companies for my money . Strider, Busse, Emerson, Chris reeve, ETC

Subject: new knife question

I would like to know what company makes your knew knife. I really like it but I can't bring myself to spend that kind of money unless I know who made it and who will stand behind it if it needs repair. A company's reputation is very important in the knife industry.

If it costed half as much they would probably sell more and make more money.
I am not personally interested in the knife, but it is probably a well built item.
