any tips on the paracord?

Anyone have any tips on how to wrap the paracord? i've seen the pics and you people seem to have it done to an art.

Check out Youtube for the Izula wrap. There are several variations to choose from. It really is easier than it looks.

I also agree with the recommendation of Stormdranes Blog. He was my inspiration to get started playing with paracord. I was also inspired by J Smith on Candlepower Forums. Seeing J Smith's skull lanyards got me hooked to try making my own lanyards.

Its a really fun hobby.

Wrap it tight, have the sheath on...I cut it long, then trim after wards. I wrap the hole, then tuck the excess and trim. Others like the knot at the end to add some length. Play around and have fun with em.

I like to clamp it down to get a really tight wrap.
If you do that, clamp it down good.

There is a DVD that's fairly new out on how to wrap paracord. I know you don't need a DVD, but they might have some pretty sweet set-ups in there. Give it a look!
