Any turkey hunters?

Last Saturday was opening day and the weather was perfect. Set up on a bird at dawn and called up 3 idiots in less than 30 minutes. I decided my best move was back home. Hope to try another place this Saturday.
 
That is one thing I am jealous of and that is most of y'all in the lower 48 getting the opportunity to hunt Turkey. I do wish all of you a safe and successful spring season!!! Maybe someday I can get back down south and be well enough health wise to get a bird. Good luck all:cool:
 
I've taken my wife on a few hunts over the past several years. With our work schedules she would usually get to hunt only a few days each season. She quit her job earlier this year so the two of us would have more time together doing the things we enjoy. Friday morning I was lucky enough to call in two decent birds at the same time. She was so nervous it made me nervous being beside her. I gave her the nod to shoot and she tumbled one. We didn't weigh him but he had 1 3/8" spurs and the beard was just shy of 10". On the walk out she said she was still shaking and said she had never felt like she did the instant before she pulled the trigger. I couldn't have been happier:D
