Any use for this material?

Photo is too small and low quality to tell. Might be hippo.

Take some close-ups from all sides. Post the shots as attachment links so they can be clicked and enlarged.
 
I agree with Stacy...they could be Hippo (which is legal)...or they could be who knows what...


Whale can be problematic......Marine Mammal Act.
 
If you touch them to a fine grit belt while running you will be able to tell if it is ivory or not. It will stink rather bad like burning hair. If it does not smell like ivory they could be Tagua Nuts. The rounding and lines made me think of that. If it is ivory the type could be problematic as was already mentioned.
 
I've done a lot of work with whale's teeth. That shape just doesn't look like it as I see in your picture. They are very oval shaped. Frank
 
tagua nuts is my bet, the size is about right and the vertical lines on the side look about right.
