My Mother's family is from Bridgeport, and my cousin's family is from St Albans. I love it there, but I can't leave the (big) mountains.
I do get back every few years.

I see that you are in N.W. Colorado at the moment. My family is actualy from the Grand Valley. There are several good makers there, and a lot of people who know how to use them. you should have fun there.(besides they got elk)

The Dozier ProGuide seems to work every bit as well on Elk as it does on whitetails.

The Grand Valley is a wonderful place. I've been in Steamboat Springs for almost 15 years, and Colo. for almost 30. I guess that means I like it here.
