Wow those look amazing, are they custom ?
And if you dont mind me asking how much would they set someone back?

I'm a fan. Carrying fixed daily is a no-no here in MI so I stick to folders. Not a ton to choose from. I carry a Boker Wharcom and Spyderco Centofante 4 on occasion. Sorry, just woke up, no pics atm.

I wasn't until I bought a knife with that blade shape. It is a very useful general purpose blade shape. Now I'm a fan. My EDC fixed blade is a modified Wharncliffe K42 Personal by Bob Dozier.

Added because of comment below: Yeah, the Dozier was over $100 but I have to say, it's worth the price. I love this little knife. There are few knives that when I first mess with that really grab me; this is one of them.

My first Wharncliffe blade that I can recall was a SOG Access Card 2.0 with a sheepsfoot blade and like it alot. It is a nice thin knife if you want a knife to just disappear in your pocket for general around the office kind of uses. Last year I got the 2012 Traditional Knife forum's knife. I really like this GEC folder.

Condor makes a little neck knife with a wharnie design. I have one. But I think they got the heat treatment wrong on it as it is a bear to sharpen and it should be easy to sharpen.

On that note, can anyone recommend a small fixed-blade Wharncliffe knife that isn't too expensive (<$100)? I love Wharncliffe blades, but lost my last one recently.

I like the blade, size, and price, but the deep grooves on the handle bother me. They seem like overkill on a knife this small. How do you feel about them?

Nice looking blades. I like the wharncliff a lot, but I just get real nervous about dropping them.

I didn't like them either until I got my first about a year ago! Now I have 5 or 6, including the last two customs I ordered. Very useful and easy to sharpen:thumbup:
No pics for all of them because I am not home, but this one is with me now:

Edit: I don't know why it keeps flipping it upside down:confused:

I like a good wharncliffe blade, especially when paired with one of a different profile. I'm not too crazy about having it as the only blade on me. You can't beat it for any task that requires precision cutting with the tip.

The aforementioned 2012 BF Traditional Forum Knife.

Case Sway Back Jack

I also modified the sheepfoot blade on my Buck 301 and made it a bit closer to a wharncliffe.

I like them a lot. I had a custom fixed blade a while back and ever since I've been sold on them for EDC use. This is my only current one. I'd like to have another custom fixed blade made.

Ernie that Davison sure is pretty.

My little Beretta Trident with 2.75" VG10 steel wharncliff blade, liner lock and Cocobolo inlay handles.

gooey who makes the custom with the lanyard about half-way down on the left?

I'm a fan of the Wharncliffe. I have a pair of Kershaw Leeks (one a composite blade, the other a Damascus) and I just ordered a Hen and Rooster Wharncliffe Whittler, for those fans of traditionals.

It's a fine general purpose blade form. It's as good at plunge cuts as a swedged clip, but slightly easier to sharpen, I think. Anything that doesn't require belly in the blade can be done easily by a Wharncliffe, so long, swiping cuts are pretty much out, but then I'm talking pocket knife, not fixed blade here.

Benchmade Instigator, middle one below the Havok chopper in my pic. Comes with a sheath, no scales.

That's by JMK (Jonny Mac Knives), in Elmax and LSCF.

I didn't like them until I got this one.

Really I never gave them a chance until I got this one. They are a nice do it all edc blade choice IMHO.
