Any word on the orange Para 2?

I'm sure the people who "need" to sell it will do what they did with the M390 military. Price Gouge. Douche bags.

There is no such thing as price gouging on luxury items, and an orange Para 2 is a luxury item. Charging $30 for a gallon of gas after hurricane Katrina - just because you can get away with it? Thats price gouging. You not getting your toy because you missed out? Tough teabags.

I am sorry you missed out, but that statement won't help you much around here. I've mentioned missing a knife in a nicer manner, and had people PM me to tell me they had an extra they would sell me at there cost. I've done the same for others. Many time's with a Busse, and a few time's with other knives.
 
I would like to have one so if anyone has ordered an extra or dont like there's, please let me know!

I don't get guys who get upset when people want to make money on a knife. Who cares? If you don't want to pay it then don't. Especially if it's a rare or preorder knife. If someone was lucky enough and or vigilant enough to get one then they can ask whatever they want for it. If they ask too much it doesn't sell. Simple enough.
 
I asked very nicely. Luckily jhyde7585 is an Awesome dude, plus I was able to score one of the 15 the knifeworks had left, without spending an extra $150. I'm sorry, but that is just greedy. I could have been a Dick when I found a Dealer selling 10 Kershaw Tilts on ebay and bought them all and triple my money, but did I? no, I let other people get one. I've also helped about 5 people get Tilts. I believe in the saying "do unto others as you would have them do unto you"

Spyderco's Exclusives page on their website says "Estimated Delivery, April 12th". Does that mean the estimated delivery is delivery to Cutlery Shoppe or to the consumer?
 
While I have never done it nor wanted too I certainly understand the words "profit" and "investment". Being a knife user it does irk me sometimes to see these great knives purchased for the sole intention of big profit but I see no reason to call people greedy douche bags. They are spending their hard-earned cash for these knives and are certainly entitled to do as they wish.
 
You preach some bible philosophy in one statement but yet call people douche bags in another. It is what it is with this knife. I missed out on buying one and now I am going to have to pay a higher price if I want one. That's life in the real world but I am not going to cry about it and call people names. Man up and don't be a cry baby.

I got a green one and missed the orange. Can't belive I didn't get a second green to try and swap for an orange, live and learn I suppose.....
 
I suppose I can't say dam either :/ I am not being a cry baby. So many people were bragging about how they pre ordered and couldn't wait to get this knife and when they started shipping,(M390 Military) they HAD to be the FIRST to post pictures and say how awesome they were. Then a week later they were also the first to turn around and sell them for close to $150 more than retail. I under stand wanting to make money. Anybody remember "Tickle Me Elmo". It is the way people went about it, I posted many comments on 4 different forums, 1 person responded, out of how many for sale? It's one reason I like a certain "other" forum better. But when you are looking for knives you look everywhere. If I see one Cheap, I'll let you know, because I hate paying to much for knives.

spyderco's exclusives page says that its ESTIMATED DELIVERY: April 2012........ not April 12th

Ideally the enthusiasts would have the first shot at buying limited production items. Now you probably have people that don't care about the knife buying it and preventing enthusiasts from getting one. It's like when concert tickets go on sale and the ticket companies put a bunch of homeless people in line to buy up the first groups of tickets and then the real fans have to buy tickets on ebay and sit in the back half of the auditorium.
 
Well I would love to get 1 if possible. I'm trying to only get/buy orange knives. It will be a daily user, I currently do not have nor ever have had a Para. Only non orange knife I have is a ZT 551 & I'm getting a orange scale for it. If anyone has a extra I would love to try to purchase it from you.
