Any word on the S30v leek?

They weren't on Newgraham or 1SKS yet, were they? I checked a couple days ago and haven't seen them... I'll wait and order from NGK. $70 is a good price, though, IMHO.

Morning all,

Just a heads up, the textured G-10, S30V Leek is at least 4 weeks out at this time.
We did ship 1000 polished G-10, S30V Leeks on Monday. Most went to the major distributors, so you should see those hitting the streets any day.

G-10/S30V Leek? Oh HELL YEAH!

Leek, S30V polished G-10....due here by end of week.
These will run a "little" higher than the stonewashed version which has yet to be released.
Watch for 'em soon.
tnx, md

wow this is defffinately on my list to get.

is this leek a frame lock or a liner?

and is this going to be a limited production run or anything scarce like that?

im really jazzed, ive always wanted a leek but diddnt like the steel.

FYI, the polished G-10 S30V Leeks will be limited to 1000 pieces. These are liner locks, not frame locks.

The Random leeks are indeed an exclusive for Chesapeake.

Wow, it looks real nice over at knifecenter.com but I just realized it only has one clip position. I sort of hate that. The other leeks were able to be positioned either tip up or tip down.

Joe, I should be more careful with my website addresses. Sorry. I also noted the lack of tip-up option on this knife. I will take a pass. Walter

The polished G-10 version with S30V has arrived. The KS1660PGT has a satin finished S30V plain edge blade. The polished G-10 scales are very well done with nice contrast. The black pocket clip is a single position version oriented for tip down carry. This is a liner lock version.
As Thomas from Kershaw noted, the textured version is not due to ship for about 4 weeks. It will be a little less money than the polished version.
Congratulations Kershaw....this looks like a winner!

I've been looking for a good excuse to go up to Bluefield, this looks like a good one. May need to hold off until the small Al Mar SERE folder is there too, though.

cmd, I worked with a Woman who's daughter lives "in sight" of NGK! Can you think of all the money I could spend in that senerio! It would be cool though!
