  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Any yall knappin out there?

Made a couple more items last week. Here are a few fish hooks in the larger size. Prolly size 2 or better. They are a pain to make and I can see why the old boys must have cherished their tools etc. I have a freind who catches five pound lunkers etc on them but says he has to be very careful with them because if you bang them on the side of the boat they are easily broken. Im using elk sinew for the cordage and hide glue to help keep it together. To waterproof it I use beeswax to keep the sinew and hide glue from softening in the water. I think im ready to try to catch something now. If only I can get some time to go fishing:rolleyes: These are made from Georgetown Blue Flint.

Unbelievable those hooks. Wouldn't have thought something like this is possible.
