Any Z-finit dealer besides AKS?

I'm looking for a 10 x 2 x .200(approx) bar. If anyone has one they could sell me, that would be cool too.

You can always try calling Zapp directly. They've been very helpful with me in the past and I buy all of my Zapp steels directly from them. They have 3 or 4 major US offices, I'd try giving each one a call and letting them know what you are looking for.

Also, Id love to hear your thoughts on Z- finite. For the price it seems like there are better options but I don't have any personal experience with it.

Z-Finit is my favorite stainless. It is very tough and seems to hold a good edge. It takes a very fine edge pretty easily. Also great for salwater or any naturally corrosive environments ( kayaking, fishing, ocean, sweat, etc.)
Only downsides are its expensive and funky to work with. Its hard on low grit belts. But grinds nice past 220 grit. Somewhat hard on drill bits as well.

Z-Finit and Elmax aren't really in the same category. Z-Finit would be much lower wear resistance but better corrosion resistance and toughness.
 
Ended up ordering some .224" from AKS... Glad I have a surface grinder.

I knew it had the upper hand with corrosion resistance becaus of the nitrogen.
