Anybody carry 24/7 ?

I always have a knife within reach unless I'm somewhere where confiscation has to be considered...court house, a school, etc.

Used to carry a machete in a rectal sheath. Missed once. Now carry it in my colostomy bag.

:D

I carry a SAK Farmer in a neck sheath pretty much all the time unless I'm in the bath (the sheath is leather). It's got a LED light on it as well, to allow me to find my way through a dark house...

I don't go armed to bed or shower, but my wife did see me with a Native clipped to my 'wears once, and hasn't let me live it down. At least she hasn't told my friends. I do have knives stashed by the bedside etc., though.

It is just not worth it to carry any blade to H.S. Seems like everywhere is ZERO tolerance, EXPULSION. No Diploma equals out to hundreds fewer knives over a lifetime, and lesser quality ones too. Just not worth it.

I dont sleep with a knife, or any thing like that.
But for the last 20 some odd years I have always had an opinel in my pocket. I than found these cool little tools called "multie tools" so for the last 5odd years have had a gerber multi tool in ether my vest (summer) or jacket (winter).

I carry a bunch of stuff 24/7..

When out and about, and not on duty...I always have at least one gun on me, most likely my fullsize H&K USP .40 with night sites...and probably my Glock 27 .40 on my ankle...If need be, I can access an AR-15, Remington 870, and Remington 700 in my trunk :)

As far as knives go, I always have my Emerson Karambit in my left pocket, with a regular knife in my right pocket. Lately its been a Buck Strider Tarani model. If I have my 5.11 tactical pants on, I'll normally have on a Microtech UMS or LCC in one of the cargo pockets. As for fixed blades, I carry a Buck Strider Solution probably 50% of the week.

Lights, I always have a ARC AAA on my keyring, and 90% of the time have my Surefire M2 on me too.

The only time I take this stuff off when I'm out is to enter court, and the only things that come off are the guns, and they go into a court locker. Everything else is ok.

To bed, most of this stuff goes into a side dresser drawer, which has an AK-47 with a 30 round magazine right beside it. I normally leave the Buck Strider Tarani in my pocket to bed.

The Buck Strider Solution has made its way through river, lake, ocean, and pool with me. :D

My wife thinks I'm a bit crazy sometimes, but just yesterday I had the local jail call me and tell me that an inmate I took in on felony charges said he was going to kill me. They found no reason to keep him in and deny bond after this statement. In fact, apparently they didn't even stop him from useing the white pages to find me.

Recon,
That guy doesn't stand a chance...and tell your wife you're just being cautious.

I'm covered 24/7 with the exception of in the shower. On my off days and clipped to my pajamas at night when I sleep I have been rotating between my JW Smith Evolution and my Scott Cook Lochsa. Both with 3 1/2 inch blades of S30V. At work in my scrubs top I carry a Tom Mayo baby hawk with a 2 1/2 inch hawk blade of Stellite 6K. It makes my day a lot easier. My wife thinks I'm just a coward that always needs to have a weapon. She just doesn't understand. ;) :p

I carry a Microtech D/A Socom 24/7

While in DCU's, I have a SOG Powerlock on my belt. I always have my M4 and a 30 rd magazine within reach. While I'm "working" I keep the Socom and a Surefire E2e clipped to my body armor.

oops, musta had it on burst
