Anybody carry a folding knife in a belt sheath?

Large classic Sebenza with micarta inlay in a black CRK leather pouch. The pouch is worn vertically on my right side, and the knife travels tip up.

When I'm in Cami's (USMC work uniform) I carry an SOG multi-tool in the leather case it came with. Yeah I know. But it does have a knife blade that folds. In my pocket I have my trusty Emerson CQC-7 w/ wave.

I carry my Spyderco Titanium Lum Tanto folder in a Gary Graley rear-canted leather sheath. The sheath can also be used in a cross-draw position.

I use both leather and cordura, I have several sheaths made by G2 as well as using the TAD S-1 sheath for work. I prefer horizontal with blade up but have a few canted as well as vertical.

1. Usually, I carry two or three knives in belt pouches since I've lost TWO Spydercos due to lousy pocket clips.

2. Leather and Cordura are preferred with a prefernce for cordura.

3. Horizontal works for me

4. For the ones I carry vertically, the knives go tip up.

e.g. Today's carry, BM 732 in cordura pouch, tip up
SAK in leather pouch
Mini-Grip in Cordura pouch, tip up

i dont like belt carry myself if i am gonna do that i carry a FB but my wife edc's her MT mini SOCOM elite in a MT sheath, horizontal carry, she doesnt like the thing in her pocket. she wears it every day, and uses it quite a bit too.

yes it is a sebenza

the sheath can go vertically or horizonatally.

I used to, now it's either a fixed blade or my Leatherman Supertool is always on my side in a Codura sheath,(my leatherman has a knife does that count? :)

Here's what I decided on:

Skirmish in leather, horizontal carry.

I think next on the list will be a horizontal cordura sheath with velcro flap.

Mercworx-Atropos
Cordura/Nylon combo
Vertically and Horizontally (mood dependant)
Blade tip and edge away from hand.

Lg Sebenza
Vertical/ leather pouch by MtMike
tip down
clip removed

No worries about losing it, OR, stabbing myself in the thumb again. LOL
