Anybody else get bitten by the sick bug already?

Sick as a dog right now...sucks. I think I have pneumonia...I got a bad cough last year, and let it go for far to long, and did some damage to the old iron lungs I think. I eat lots of hot peppers and garlic, and I drink wheat grass whenever I can get some...usually in an Odwalla superfood or something. Other than that...tomatoes and Orange juice. I dont take vitamins...most of what you eat in vitamins gets flushed right out..so I try to eat food with vitamins in mind.

About 10% of the school where I teach is out with the flu, and the number is climbing. It is probably just a matter of time for me . . .

My wife just got over the flu. Luckily I didn't get it. I haven't been really sick this year but I've had days that I just didn't feel well.

Not yet, thank goodness, but then, the season's young yet. I'm also one of those people who only get sick once a year or so, and I imagine my time will come... sooner or later. Not looking forward to it, that's for sure.

My grandson has the H1N1 with several other health problems. We are praying for the best but right now, he is in tough shape.

Vaccinations, friends! Vaccinations! Get all the ones you can, as early as you can. Been a bit harder to do this year, I know. But H1N1 should be available by the middle of next month, some places already have the live vaccine available.

And stay the hell away from others until you're afebrile for > 24 hours!

I wouldn't touch that poison if you paid me a million bucks to get it. :thumbdn:

but hey, the Guberment says its safe so it "must" be safe eh! Of course one just has to follow in government has shares in the major pharma co's ......of course their gonna say its safe......:grumpy::barf::thumbdn:

Well I went to the doc today. My parents are coming to visit for my birthday next weekend and my mom was all concerned that I might have H1N1. I tried to tell her that I knew it wasn't the flu, but she wouldn't listen. You know how those moms get when they start getting up there in years.

I was right. Doc said I just had a wicked infection, not the flu.

That about sum's it up. Where do you think H1N1 came from? why do you think they want you to get the shot so bad?

I'm not crazy, its just the sad truth.

old CIA maxim:

"create a problem - implement a solution"

create the swine flu in a lab, create the cure in the lab down the hall........create fear and paranoia, release the "vaccine" and rake in the $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

textbook big pharma....

Yeah, H1N1 is sprayed by black helicopters, swine flu is a CIA plot, and 9-11 was an inside job!

Thanks Dawsonbob. The little guy has a tough life. He has a problem with his blood cells that is very rare.

Wow, the government did it? Pretty scary. What's doubly scary is that they must have been at it for a long time! Since viral epidemics are about as old as man's history, that means they must also have a time machine in order to cause these outbreaks! Crap! I gotta go stock my bunker...

Oh no.. I just realized that every single medical professional would have to be in on it too! My god. It's only the most elaborate plan ever, ever.

say what you want, I'm not putting that poison into my body. I'm not the only one who feels that way either. There is a growing number of doctors here in Canada who are REFUSING to administer the swine flu vaccine, and a there is also a growing number of complications from the vaccine, one of the links was posted earlier here.

but hey, the Guberment says its safe, so it "must" be safe right? (sorry but I find it astounding and VERY disturbing that people here take the Guberments word as gospel. Kinda like a few years back when the guberment said Thorazine, Thalmonide (spelling??) and a hundred other "medicines" "vaccines" were Ok.........hell the Canadian Goverment (environment section) used to spray DDT in the streets, even said it was safe for the children to walk in the mist....yea that turned out well didn;t it.........(but wait, didn;t they say it was "safe?"....LOL

just a few interesting reads on complications with the H1N1 (bird/pig flu) vaccines. Several doctors here in BC want to release notes on the complications with the vaccine, but are prohibited from doing so by the Pharma co agreements...

I'm sorry, but I always tend to tune out when people start to type things like "guberment". If you're anti-government, that's fine. But, it just seems a little over-the-top to spell it that way, every time. Anyways...

I refused the H1N1 vaccine, personally.

I don't have to get the vaccine, both my son and I have just gotten over the H1N1. Not too bad, low grade fever for adults, but it comes back after a couple of days. Probably took about 8 days before we were 100%. My son had a high fever (104+), and the doc said to alternate ibuprofin and tylenol every 3 hours - that did the trick, could keep it down below 101.

Best wishes for your grandson, udtjim.

Yep...Tanner (the smaller twin) & myself both were down last week with TypeA Flu (H1N1) We both still have some congestion & cough but are feeling alot better. The Doc loaded him up on TamiFlu & Antiboitics. The Dock Gave me TamiFlu & Z-pack & Phenagren. I was SICK...Temp was 102.6:eek: I couldn't keep anything down & had a Busting Headach. Was Very Dizzy & body hurt all over. Since we were both down with it the doc gave Tamiflu for my wife & the other twin to help keep them from getting it, we also sent Brady (the other twin) to his GrandMa's until this passed. So far neither my wife or him has had it:thumbup:
UDTJIM My prayers go out for the child ;)

Echinacea, taken at the first inkling that I may be getting a cold, has kept me pretty much cold/flu free for years. Of the few times I've had to go throug the cold, it's because I wasn't able to get to the echinacea when I first started to have problems.
