Anybody else see "Lady in the Water"?

Kevin, I was the same way with Unbreakable. I think what threw me for a loop was that is wasn't The Sixth Sense. I was waiting for some wiz-bang jaw dropping twist that would tie the whole 2 hours together in 15 seconds. After viewing it a second time, I really enjoyed it. It was sort of the polar of LITW. It was movie about a comic-book hero. However, the stuff that is just glossed over in the comics is the focus of the story. Unlike LITW where everyone just accepts everything at face value, Unbreakable was really getting down to what is between the lines. How would a real life super-hero deal with accepting this gift and dealing with the potential guilt?
Geez, Unbreakable is talking its way up my M. Night favorites list;)

I fell asleep during "Superman Returns" too. I didn't read reviews before I went, but in this case, almost all of the negative reviews I've read in the meantime have been valid. It sucked. It worse than sucked. No matter how bad a movie is, the cardinal sin is to be boring, and that "movie" did it.

Don't get me started on corrupting an icon like Superman... Oy!
