Anybody ever notice Sal's tag on the Native III?

I was examining my Native III the other day and noticed that Sal's tag was on it, but not in a very noticeable area. Has anybody else taken notice of it? Here's a hint, it's not where it usually is (like on the Para and the UKPK), in fact, I'm surprised I even spotted it.

In this picture, borrowed from Spyderco's site, you can see the tag, but just barely. Unfortunately, I don't have a camera with me to be able to take a close up of it. The tag is in the FRN, by the butt of the handle, in a little tiny circle, next to the barrel bolt clip screw. If you've got a Native III, check it out. I was amazed at how well hidden it was!

Yes, noticed that quite a while back. Couple other models have his mark in places other than the blade, ATR has it on the clip.

Really ? mine has it on the back side of the blade, just forward of the hole (PE TI ATR)
my Lil Temp has it on the clip
On the big temperance, its hidden in one of the indexing divots

Haven't put it on the Native4...yet. ;)

Probably will on the FRN version that is planned for Golden.

hey thats pretty slick, i just took a look at mine.

wonder if there are some other easter eggs on my knives.

ha, i noticed it while examining yesterday as well. forgot how nice the native III is.
though i prefer the blade styling of the native, the native III is cool, too.
 
******WARNING******** Newbie question.*************

I saw that on my Native III yesterday. I also see it on other Spydercos. Now I know what it is …kinda. Sal’s tag. I like the way it looks. Where can I learn more about it? I was unable to find anything on Spydercos web site?
