Anybody ever ordered from www.bladezz.com? (with two "Z"s) I sent in an order almost a month ago and while I did recieve a confirmation email, no email I've sent as of late has been returned and more importantly, no shipment has arrived . . . .

With all the websites popping up for knives or any other item you may purchase, I think that a simple search tool would be nice. Personally, I like to check some websites out to make sure the owner or registrar isn't overseas.

www.whois.net

Great site to find the owner and all the pertinent information on them. Address and all. Give it a try.

All you do is type the web addy into the "WHOis Lookup" field and hit enter.

Hope this helps in some small way...

I hate to say don't try someone new, but ... we do have a plethora of competitive, reliable online knifesellers ... One Stop Knife Shop, Bayou Lafourche, New Graham, KnifeCenter, even Smoky Mountain. And at least a dozen more, easily, that no one has any reason to complain of, people in business for a long time.

bhyde is right. There are a few facts you can check. Or ask here first, not after the order's missing in action for a month. Don't wait too long to dispute the credit card charges! You shouldn't BE charged until the order ships, so, send one last email stating --

"I have told my card company not to pay this charge, so please cancel it NOW. Thanks, goodbye."

Good Idea. I never thought of saying that.
I would think that would be a great way to get a "slow shipper or slow email responder" off the dime!

I'll have to try it next time I have a problem.
