anybody for a thinner Survive

I really like the thought of just slightly thinning the edge thickness up on the Neckers and possibly the 3.5s.

It's nothing new for Survive, but I still can't help but comment on how great it is that they comment in these threads. The fact that they are so in tune with and listen to their customers is one of the things that really makes them an outstanding company.

I'm really looking forward to the Kitchen line-up, and for whatever is in store on the SK line (maybe this is where we'll see the thinner edges?)

I definitely couldn't disagree with your assessment. I think Mr. Ethan Becker said it best when he said all knives are a compromise. Yes, there can be the ideal knife for the job, but the individual has to decide on what the job is and what knife is prefered. Some people do want an indestructible sharpened pry bar, but others may want a 6 inch scalpel. From my limited use and experience, I think Guy has found a really good balance. This doesn't mean we can't all hope for our individualized preferences, though :)

Completely agree with this. Definitely is impossible to please everyone at the same time. And Guy has found a great balance.

The fact that the 4.5 Bushcraft was designed and released I imagine should go a long way towards making the majority of people happy. I know I'll be picking one up.

Great info, Mike. Thanks!

Here's a shot of my ESEE 6 with black coating.

Whoa! Totally the wrong pic. I'm so embarrassed!

I'll get a real comparison pic up, if not tonight then tomorrow for sure!

How about a pass around on your Esee 6? Please put me at the top of the sign up list.
