Anybody get their "free" Colonial knife yet?

I sent my request in about two weeks ago and haven't heard or received anything from Colonial knife yet. Maybe they were flooded with requests.

Has anyone seen their free knife since DavidinVT first posted his review/ad? Inquiring minds want to know!
 
Nothing here yet......he said there may have been some kind of delay due to not getting e-mail or being swamped......still waiting with anticipation.

Not yet. I'm wondering if those requests were even submitted. Remember how the website was malfunctioning?

Colonial has a history of doing this, giving away a free one with their catalog. Last time I requested one was in about 2000. They sent me a nice little yellow two blade in a stockman frame, it was from the 'Old Cutler' line up.

David did picque my interest, and I've been looking for a retail seller.

No catalog, no knife, and unfortunately no retailers out this way in the Southwest.

Thank you all for the response. I will be sure to post back in this thread as soon as something shows up, if it shows up. I will also let you know what model I receive. The way their website order form was operating I also have my doubts as to whether the order even made it through to them.
 
Hey all, DavidBinVT here....my other name is acting up on loggin in

I will contact Colonial (they are closed over the weekend) and bring Rick Stroo to this thread and see that he is losing possible customers. I am not in state this weekend, I had some personal matters to attend to but I will e-mail him mon. morning and make sure he gets those knives out and if not then I need to know why....I have lots more questions for him anyways, like if the knife tang says 440 what 440 is it?

I made my request back on 1/28/05, and nothing yet. I just e-mailed Rick with a followup. We'll see.
 
Me too. I sent my request in to Rick yesterday. I will reset my clock and start the waiting again.
