Anybody got the Spyderco Forester

And if so how does it work in the field? I am thinking of getting one of these but would like the thoughts of those that have it or have used it.

I got a Woodlander a while back and promptly sold it. The quality was superb, as Spydercos always are, but I had no concept of how BIG it was. The handle and blade are massive, and the Forester is even bigger. This may be exactly what you are looking for, but I was not expecting it and did not want a blade that big in a stainless steel. That said, you could probably fell a redwood with one if you wanted to.
