Anybody have any recommendations for a folding knife in the 150 dollar range?

Spyderco Gayle Bradley.

Gotta agree with those who recommend the Spyderco Military. However, let me add a couple more thoughts and options.

The Spyderco Endura. About half the cost of a Military (or less, if you like VG-10 steel), and a fine, fine slicer. If you get one of the sprint runs in ZDP-189, I think you'll have to go a very long way to find a better knife and I'm not sure you can find a better knife for the money.

The ZT0600 would be a nice choice, but it's a limited edition and you don't see many on the Exchange. Nice knife, though.

The ZT0801 has a nice fat handle (IMO), but it is just out of your price range, I think, unless you find a good deal on a used knife. Awesome knife, though. Still, you might catch one on the Exchange as people level up to the 0801CF.

Today, I am carrying the dreaded ZT0300 blackwash as my backpocket knife. If that's not big enough for you, I don't know what else to suggest. :)

My wildcat suggestion is a Benchmade Bone Collector, the folding knife with the walnut handle. Based on the Rift, I believe. Gorgeous knife! Under a hundred bucks at a large internet retailer. :)

Of course, there's always the Cold Steel Voyager. :) :) :)

Another option is a Kershaw JYD. Well under your price range, a big heavy use knife, and a composite blade with D2 edge. Great knife for a user.

Hey guys, I've made my decision, I'm going with the spyderco military simply for the most recommendations and i found one for 140 dollars on cheaper than dirt. I found this extremely helpful and now I know many brands to look out for when my budget opens up, thanks for all your help.

Hmm, the lighter, equal thickness spyderco military (which has a longer blade and handle) is a pocket hulk? That's interesting.

I can taste the sarcasm in your post, and it's delicious. It's nice to get my RDA of assfrazzling in before lunch.
