Anybody have experience with 154cm stainless steel?

I received a Spyderco Manix 2 in 154cm last Christmas and I have really liked the edge retention on the steel, but what I haven't been able to test is the steel's ability to resist corrosion. Anybody know anything on the topic? Any help would be appreciated.

154 cm is highly resistant to corrosion. I carried a Benchmade Mini Barrage at work for some time and it was exposed to sweat, moisture, dirt, etc with no issues whatsoever. I'm not saying it can't rust, but with very little preventive care, you certainly shouldn't have any issues. If the blade gets wet, simply wipe it off, if your whole knife gets wet, blow it out with an air hose, can of air, blow dryer, etc. IMO, 154cm is a good all around steel, you really cant go wrong with it.

154CM/ATS34 is supposed to have good abrasion resistance and corrosion resistance. What you get out of the PM versions that Mete mentioned like CPM 154 and RWL 34 is all that AND a significant increase in toughness.
