City boy has a question: how did you _FIND_ a new home like that in the first place? Sounds like paradise to me - and I don't even hunt!
My idea of heaven would be any place where I need to fill up my gas tank more than once to "drop in" on my nearest neighbor.

Getting a woodstove in the shop at the moment.
Snowing and 20 degrees.
Couple more pieces of pipe and it is finished.
Been cutting wood for a couple weeks now.

Randy I heat my house and shop with wood, have been for 15 years. Cuttin wood is good for you but you're right dail up sucks, it goes with living way out in the sticks. Enjoy
