Anybody heard from Yvsa?

Oklahoma has been hit pretty hard and lots of places still without power. Haven't seen Yvsa around or gotten any emails. Just a little worried.

Just heard from Yvsa. They are iced in with another storm to hit this weekend, but they were prepared and doing fine. Feel much better.

I was wondering about him this morning too. Glad to hear he and Barbie are hunkered down and safe. :)
 
I hear he's doing better than he has in a while in fact...
 
Too bad he's not posting more. Yvsa is one of those voices that isn't so loud in the cantina these days. Seems like a lot of old timers have drifted away. I guess it's just the way of things.
 
Some have not "drifted away", but are merely on the sidelines once or twice a day and have seen nothing to move the spirit in the direction of commentary......
 
When one is too busy doing productive/healthy activities, to go online much, is a very good thing, methinks. ;)

I bet he's out pistol shootin' right now.

I know Yvsa had mentioned he wasn't gonna be online as much because he was feeling better, so I definitely hope he's out doing fun stuff. Still, it'd be nice to hear from him now and again.
 
The storm that smashed Oklahoma came charging my way and stopped literally 10 miles west of me. It's surreal....things here look/feel pretty much the same (aside from it being quite cold). But then west of here (Centerton is the next town) everything is covered in ice, trees have fallen down, power outages, etc.

Me too. His health has greatly improved. I really appreciate his positive attitude and self-discipline. It is paying great dividends.

Suggest we all keep praying and smoking for his continued improvement, and for Barbie also. She and Yvsa together make a powerful team.

Barbie and I have been kicking ass and taking names.:thumbup: ;) :D
I have now lost a total of 57 pounds according to when I actually first started and on our scales from 305 pounds to 248 pounds!!!! One really rare and skinny assed day I was down to 245 but with the constant edema I have such difficulty with, I can vary as much as 8-10 pounds.:rolleyes:
All I can do is take my lowest weight and keep shooting for it.
I'm at 248 fairly consistently now.:cool:
And according to my Dietitian I went from 36.9% of body fat too 34% body fat and went from 161 pounds of muscle mass to 166.5% muscle mass!!!!
And Lo & Behold my Barbie is down to what she was when we got together some 21 years ago!!!!

I was planning on dropping in today after an experience we had this morning and posting a Public Service Warning and this and that.
As Uncle Bill used to say, "Stay tuned." ;)

Thom, try again as I evidently was having a problem with my ISP earlier today.:grumpy:
After cleaning the "C" drive and recycle bin, running CCleaner and RegMech, and restarting a couple of times things seem to be back to normal once again.:thumbup:
