After inquiring about these a while back, I went and bought a used on on Ebay that was said to be in working order. Of course I got duped. It does turn on and heat up, but somebody messed with the factory settings in the PID, and the temperature is way off.
Does anyone here have one? Mine's a 110 volt Hardin F-180 melting furnace. If so, would you be willing to look at the numbers entered for the settings & let me know? You just have to hold the set button until the display flashes, and then press the set button again to scroll through the numbers/values for the various calibration settings.
