For those of us in this region, how would an informal get together sometime this year sound? We don't usually have these kinds of things close at hand, so maybe we need to start our own! :)

Awesome, a couple of more within range! :) I'll see if how many others are interested at the other forums too and see what we can start putting together. Anybody with any ideas on where/when to try to get together feel free to start posting or emailing if you wish! :)

I am in Jamestown ND. I will be gone the first week of July and the last week of May. Any other time would work for me.:thumbup:

Any Idea's on where to meet? I would enjoy that. I get to Fargo to the VA quite often. Someone could PM me and I will give you my Cell Number. OR

I'm in a northern suburb of the Twin Cities. I'd be interested in get together. (My wife is racing in Ironman Coer d'lene, so we'll be gone late June).
 
A date after July 4th and before the 3rd week of August sounds the most probable. People seem busy before that and then by the third week of August schools are getting back into session and so forth.

Location is another question: I don't have a clue as I'm not familiar enough with this area. Seeing the location of the respondents, I'd guess middle MN if anybody has any specific locations in mind.

Mille Lacs Kathio and Itasca are really nice state parks in central Minnesota. They aren't right on the I-94 corridor, but they are really nice parks.
 
I will look those up. Just keep me out of Minneapolis. Way to much of a good thing, (People.):eek:
 
Getting together in the woods is what I was thinking...I deal with lots of people in the city daily the way it is! LOL! :)

So what time are we looking at?

I'm (hopefully) going back to work early-mid June, and going to school up until then. If this is a weekend excursion I can probably make it down anytime between now and then.

Do you need a passport to cross the US-Can border these days?
 
I think June 1st rings a bell for the latest date passports are required...Which means we need to get on the ball and get ours...My wife is Canadian! :o
