Maybe by that time I will be able to drive myself there! I am driving some short trips now but, haven't done any long hauls yet!

We are hoping to get down to Teddy's for the first time this year later on in the month but, the woman will do all the driving for that. I figure I will be doing good just to be riding the trip! We are planning to stop a lot more than we are used too! Just one of those things that old people do I guess! Ha! Ha!

Can you give me some kind of idea how long a trip it would be for me from my place to your place? Take care for now and stay safe! ft
 
Hi Jeff, I finally refound this thread and the link to the Waterloo Recreational Area! This is some kind of large area! I printed out the map they give you at the link! I only see one Rustic Cabin Symbol on the map, am I to assume that all three Rustic Cabins are located at that same area? Do you have any suggestions as to how to get there from here! Is there some place that we have to check in with, and to pay our park fee, and where would that be? Would that be the 16345 McClure Road? Is this where we all plan to meet or what is the plan? As close as I can tell, we follow I-94 over but, for the life of me, I have looked this park map over and I do not see a McClure Road on it, So I guess I am going to have to go to Google Maps to see what I can find out! I'm sure I will work it out but, if anyone knows more, PLEASE, jump in and let us know where we are suppose to go and meet up!

Hi again Jeff! O.K., I have gone through the maps and found Chelsea, and have an idea of where the Main Park Unit is! The reason I couldn't find McClure Road, is because it is obscured by some kind of trail lines that run through it! This on the map looks like an epic journey for me, ha ha but, I think I can make it! I just need to know where to go first and get checked in and legal, and to make sure they can direct me where I think I am going! I've pretty much seen the major part of the park from the satilite now, so that helps a whole lot! You can still send any info you think will help out, and I'm thinking it might take more like six hours for me to get there but, I will eventually get there! I think I'm going to have to treat this trip like a trip to Teddy's house, I'm going to have to leave here about 2:00 a.m.! I'll be looking forward to hearing from you when you have everything firmed up!

You'll be taking I-94 East to the Clear Lake Road exit. The cabin is only a couple of miles from the highway on Tryst road. Very easy to find. Don't worry about checking in anywhere, we'll all just meet at the cabin on the morning of the 15th. I'll email you my contact info and any other details that I can think of.
