The fact that he's a fake makes him like any other cable tv yahoo -- irritating and contemptible, but there's no shortage of that (and if he hadn't been busted, he never would have fessed up about how staged the show is, so he gets zero credit for the disclaimers). What really makes him intolerable, to me, is what a pig he is in the woods. He leaves one long trail of busted up crap in his wake, and he's a bully. What sport is there in having your crew build a dam to trap a bunch of fish so that you can spear one? None.
