True! I paid a decent price for it. I plan on getting a few accessories for this one and keeping it long term. If I ever had an issue it wouldn't be under warranty but I'm sure I could still get service, but would have to pay for it correct?
Warranty
As long as Rick is breathing we will warranty at no cost to you, any material defects or workmanship that have a direct effect on the usefulness of the tool, or it's intended purpose. Normal wear and tear issues like stripped screws, worn and scratched finishes, bent clips, blade wear, etc will fall under refurbishing, and there are fees associated. We also will not do warranty work on "pimped" or altered knives. Repairs to or worked performed on your knife by any source other than us, voids the warranty. Our warranty does not cover damage caused by abuse, misuse, loss, improper handling, alterations, accident, neglect, disassemble, or improper sharpening. So if you have drilled any holes, interchanged parts between knives, installed parts that did not come from our shop including scales, screws, washers, etc, altered the knife with a file, sandpaper, dremel tool, or had the blade reground then your warranty is void. We also do not cover lost parts like, screws, clips, Lock Bar Stabilizers, etc. If your blade is not perfectly centered when in the closed position, this is not a warranty issue. If we determine there is a defect in the materials or workmanship, we will repair, or replace the product. If we determine that it is something other than a defect in workmanship or materials, we will inform you if the product can be repaired and your cost. If we cannot repair the knife, we will return it to you and depending on the severity we may recommend that it should be removed from service. If your knife has been abused or has seen hard use for a long period of time, it is possible that the useful life of the product has been exceeded.
