Wow what a wealth of information to be found on this site....I have learned alot here already. It's my first post so please bear with me. I'm interseted in the Schrade D'holder's today. Does anyone know how many of the Schrade D'holder Elk SDH03's were actually produced? Did they make the full 500? How many were numbered and etched? I have read that some were not numbered and etched. I have found information regarding the number of SDH04's but nothing on the number of the SDH03's. Any information would be helpful.

As far as I'm concerned Del Anderson is the most accurate authority on Schrade D'Holder other than perhaps D'Alton Holder himself. Del used to frequent this forum and goes by the handle Delander.
