All,
Need a bit of direction. I am in auto unfriendly place. And while posession, in the home, of autos is ok. It seems that actually getting them is a bit of a catch 22.

Can you point me to sources other than roadside for decent kits? It seems there are a lot of negative reviews of this particular source.
thanks!

PVK sells kits. I've dealt with him with no problems, though others have experienced difficulties at times....mostly because his communication skills seem a bit hit or miss.
I would NOT deal with Roadside for numerous reasons.

Where are you located? We might be able to point you to a dealer who could make it less difficult for you to purchase.

in Mass..

Since it's legal to own, just not carry in your state, if you'd rather have a knife vs. a kit, I would think BladeHQ/BladePlay can likely help you out. Two different web sites, but the same company.
Far as I can tell, they don't do any kits, but have a wide selection of all the popular brands. Very good rep here and are a supporting dealer of BF.

what kind of kit are you looking for??? I got in trade the Italian knife kits in trade. they are a spear blade instead of the pointy style blade.

Knifekits.com will sell you a convertable knife and all the stuff to convert, once you have some of the tools you can make other conversions.

Directknifesales.com sells stiletto kits

I'll echo the Knifekits suggestion. An automatic kit might not be any less of a catch 22 than an assembled knife and you may want to check on that if it concerns you. However, a conversion is a different matter.
