Zhang Ziyi (Moon)

Nope. Can't think of a single reason to watch this film.

I hated this movie too. Wasn't it supposed to be Quinten Tarintino? One way or the other the story was terrible and the fight scenes didn't make up for it.

Nope. Mira-hack wanted to chop it all up and Americanize it. Quinten had seen it at a film festival and begged them not to alter it. They agreed on the condition that they be allowed to use his name for advertising.

I was with Danbo at first.. but read up on the genre and then rented it when it came out to watch and examine at a more leisurely pace, the extras on the dvd help a lot with getting into it I found. Now I am with Golok. As a fable it is fantastic. Especially the leaves scene..Liked the movie and images so much I bought the dvd, something I never do.

Saw it, kept looking at the clock, while the leaves scene was cool in an artistic way, I am not able to give this a thumbs in any direction kind of approval/dissaproval, while I may not have enjoyed it, there are those that will and that's usually a good thing, otherwise we'd all be watching Inspector Clouseau, which by the way they are re-making the Pink Panther staring Steve Martin along with Kevin Kline, should be interesting? :)
G2

ps, just got back from Buenos Aires and I SWEAR that one of the Security guards there looked Exactly like Inspector Clouseau!!! In fact I commented to one of the guys waiting in the ticket line and he burst out laughing about how close this guy looked! Even down to the squinting eyes as he purveyed the entire airport looking for a sign of trouble or a mis-behaving Minkey.
